careeronestop - Veteran and Military Transition Center
https://www.careeronestop.org/Veterans/default.aspx
The Veteran and Military Transition Center is one-stop website for employment, training, and financial help after military service. It is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor. One of the major highlights of this resource is on the left side of the homepage where you are able to enter your military job and where you live. The transition center does all the work for you and matches your military job title/code to civilian careers that use similar skills and will show you job openings in those careers. Other great information includes how to continue your education and training, how to search for a job and find guidance on resumes, interviews, and more, and housing, healthcare, and additional programs to support you in all areas of your life.

My Next Move for Veterans
https://www.mynextmove.org/vets/
My Next Move for Veterans is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment & Training Administration, and developed by the National Center for O*NET Development. In My Next Move for Veterans, you can easily search careers in a few ways.
  1. You can search via keywords. The site tells you to describe your dream career in a few words. Once you do that, you will get a list of matching occupation titles and you can see the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for that position and personality, technology, education, job outlook and more.
  2. You can browse careers by industry. You might not know exactly what the occupation title is, but you know what sector or industry you want to be in. You can search through a major drop-down list and still find the above listed information on various careers.
  3. You can browse by military classification. Like in the Veteran and Military Transition Center resource, you can also find careers like your current or previous job title/code in the military. Simply select your branch and code of your classification and related job titles will populate for you to choose from.
If you’re still not completely sure of what you want to do, you can take The O*NET Interest Profiler that will suggest careers based on the type of work you enjoy doing.

National Labor Exchange
https://veterans.usnlx.com/
The National Labor Exchange is sponsored by the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA). It helps you find veteran friendly jobs by entering any combination of job title or keyword, ideal location or your military job title or code. This resource also lets you select whichever state you reside in and directs you to their individual Veterans Employment Program.

VETERANS.GOV
https://www.veterans.gov/
Another Department of Labor Resource, VETERANS.GOV helps you find a job and continued education/training, resources on starting your own business, employers dedicated to hiring Veterans, VA benefits and information, and something not on other sites listed - military spouse resources. Similar to the National Labor Exchange, you can also see the state you reside in and the resource will direct you to their individual Veterans Employment Program.
